Fia is our first Xoloitzcuintli and she has not disappointed us with her personality,  intelligence, and drive to work she is everything hoped for and more!  Fia is a breed winner over specials from the puppy class, finishing her Championship, Grand Championship with Group placements in her first year of showing.  She has been ranked in the top five in conformation three years in a row...for only being 3 years of age we think thats pretty impressive!  Fast, sound, well balanced she is a great sport partner always up for the job/game whatever it may be!  She turned heads during her Temperament Test run with the ATTS impressing everyone with her friendliness and stability of nerves as well as her willingness to protect when needed.

Fia has taken time during the show break to welcome a litter of puppies. She will be back in the show ring in 2021 to finish her Gold GrandChampionship, and hopefully some obedience titles.

2019 started the year off with three more breed wins and a Group 4 at Boardwalk. In February, she earned Select Bitch at the Garden. I decided to keep showing her in 2019 but not as actively, my only goal was to finish her Silver as we were already part way there. She finished her Silver towards the end of the year, earned her BCAT in Fast Cat, showed off her steady temperament by completing the American Temperament Test Society’s Temperament Test evaluation with ease and very correct responses to all the challenges. Although we didn’t show as seriously in conformation, we still pulled of a fifth place ranking in Breed.

Our goals for 2020 include completing the next few levels in Trick Dog competition, her Rally Novice Title, and possibly a venture to the whelping box since conformation shows are currently on hold.
